Q: What is the refund policy?
A: General Motors values your business and wants you to be satisfied with your experience. If for some reason you wish to have a refund or credit please note the following refund policies:
  • Short Term (3 day) subscriptions are non refundable
  • One time downloads are non refundable
  • Per VIN programming events are non refundable
  • Key code purchases are only refundable when the code is incorrect and within 48 hours of the time of purchase
  • Long Term (1 month - 1 year) subscriptions may be refunded at the discretion of General Motors. In cases where refunds are granted they will be pro-rated based on use of the service. Refunds will not be granted after the subscription period has ended.

TIS 2 Web

Q: What is the difference in the different subscriptions?
A: The following TIS 2 Web subscriptions are available.
  • Tis2Web - Service Programming: This subscription includes GM and Saturn software to update vehicle calibrations only. Vehicle calibrations may be looked up at no charge at http://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web.
  • Tis2Web - Tech 2 Diagnostics: Tech 2 software updates for GM vehicles.
  • Global Diagnostic System 2: PC based diagnostic software for some 2010 and newer GM vehicles. Also available for Medium Duty Vehicles. A Light Duty subscription is required to activate the Medium Duty Purchase option. Medium duty coverage is for Model year 2016 and forward.

Q: I have a J-2534 programming tool. Can I use TIS 2 Web?
A: Yes, but keep in mind there are two versions of the J-2534 SAE standard.

A: The Tis2Web - Service Programing subscription would be the correct subscription to work with your J-2534 programming tool.

Key Code and Immobilizer

Q: Will all vehicles have Immobilizer codes?
A: Limited numbers of General Motors vehicles have Immobilizer system requiring an Immobilizer PIN.

A: There is only one request which will return the information needed for that particular vehicle.
